Title: Oscillatory signatures from the sky with their phenomenological implications

Abstract: 

I’ll present two complementary inflation-era mechanisms that tie heavy-field dynamics to observables. (1) A derivative coupling that acts as a chemical potential for a U(1)-charged spectator, with soft U(1) breaking, yields charge generation during inflation and a log-oscillatory “cosmological-collider” bispectrum. (2) The same ingredients drive resonant particle production, sourcing a primordial tensor signal that maps to today’s stochastic gravitational wave background. I’ll demonstrate the backreaction-safe parameter space and show how large-µ favors collider signals while small but finite µ produces detectable GWs—a clear multi-probe target for upcoming CMB and GW experiments.
