 the QCD Phase Transition: Gravitational Waves from Newborn Neutron Stars\n
  \nAbstract:\nThere is tentative evidence that the cores of the most mass
 ive neutron stars consist of quark matter. I will discuss that the formati
 on of such a quark-matter core during a galactic supernova could be accomp
 anied by gravitational wave emission in the MHz band\, sourced by the QCD 
 phase transition. These signals constitute a new target for high-frequency
  gravitational wave detectors\, suggesting they may offer a unique probe o
