Study of models beyond one Higgs boson doublet

Description

Title: Study of models beyond one Higgs boson doublet

Speaker: Prof. Markos Maniatis (Biobio U.)

Abstract: Many models beyond the Standard Model suggest that there is more than one physical Higgs boson. Indeed an extension of the Higgs sector may be closely connected to a new source for CP violation, to the generation of neutrino masses, a Dark Matter candidate, and is required in supersymmetric models. We would like to show how models with an arbitrary number of Higgs-boson doublets and singlets can be studied, for instance with respect to stability, CP and other symmetries, and electroweak symmetry breaking.
