Title: Resummation of large logarithms in exclusive processes

Speaker: Chul Kim (Seoultech)

Abstract: High energy exclusive processes are sensitive to some infrared scales, which forbid prediction based on the perturbative calculation. When we introduce a jet veto or an energy cut for obtaining the infrared safe result, we also face large logarithms resulting from the large hierarchy between the high energy and the low energy quantity such as a jet veto. In this talk, we discuss how to resum the large (Sudakov) logarithms high energy exclusive processes using factorization theorem and look into several application including QED processes
