Description

Title: Higgs pole inflation and its realizations

Speaker:  Hyun Min Lee (CAU)

Abstract: We discuss the recent developments of the pole inflation scenarios from the concrete realizations in particle physics models (Standard Model Higgs and Peccei-Quinn scalars) to UV complete gravity theories. Phenomenological study of the running quartic couplings in view of the recent ACT results has been undertaken, accounting for a larger spectral tilt in the inflationary power spectrum. We also propose UV completion models of the pole inflation in Wely gravity with a non-compact isometry of the field space and show the interplay between the Weyl photon dark matter and the  inflationary predictions in the general attractor solutions for the pole inflation.
