Title: Exploring leptogenesis in the era of first order electroweak phase transition
Speaker: Arunansu Sil
Abstract: In this talk, I will present novel low-scale leptogenesis scenario in the neutrino seesaw framework, where right-handed neutrinos (RHNs) lighter than the SM Higgs or even gauge bosons can generate the observed baryon asymmetry. A first-order electroweak phase transition keeps sphalerons active below their conventional decoupling temperature in Standard Model, enabling the leptogenesis even for a reheating temperature close to 40 GeV. The scenario predicts potentially detectable gravitational waves and RHNs as light as 35 GeV, offering promising prospects for future gravitational-wave and accelerator experiments.
