Title: Gravitational Production of Particle Dark Matter
Speaker: Yong Tang (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences)
Abstract: A significant amount of our Universe is composed of dark matter, which has so far eluded various experimental searches, except those astronomical observations that illuminate the gravitational interaction of dark matter. If dark matter is an elementary particle, it should be produced in the early universe, based on the standard model of particle physics and cosmology. In this talk, we shall give an overview how gravitational interaction could contribute to the production of dark matter in inflationary cosmology and discuss various factors that can affect the relic density.
